Welcome to my personal webspace. I live in Western MA and enjoy relationships with family,  friends,  & work  associates, located around the beautiful Berkshires. Like many people, I came to the area to attend graduate school and stayed.  First as a "flatlander", down in the valley,  now as a hilltown resident.

I have many goals and objectives in life. My underlying focus in all endeavors is to contribute to and enjoy, the local community at home, at work, and at play. To achieve this end, I am interested in ecology and support organizations that contribute to community and/or protect and preserve the land. 

Through my business, Rileyinteractive, I apply my professional expertise in Internet technology, marketing communications, business strategy deployment, & project management. I specialize in helping small businesses, community organizations & not for profit organizations develop/deploy marketing programs.

Recently, I've re-established my earlier passion for hiking by taking some long distance treks on the Appalachian Trail & on the Long Trail. I go under the trail name of "Riels". I've been working on climbing the 67 New England 4000 footers. You can visit the on-trail hiking gallery to read about my treks & to view the pictures.

Finally, I enjoy catching up with my kids, taking off on hiking and camping excursions, river paddles, and walkabouts with my wife Renee and my guru-black-lab, Cale.
