Commentary: Finding this species in Arizona is a bit of a challenge; finding one locally that allows close viewing is amazing. This bird showed up in November and has gradually acclimated to park visitors. Although not as dramatic as the adults, I still find it an interesting subject and am glad to get some decent shots of it in my files.
