Radio In Vivo: Your Link to the Triangle Science Community is a one-hour interview program, focusing on one scientific topic
per week. Typically, but not exclusively, scientific activities and personalities local to the Research Triangle area of
North Carolina are featured.
Ernie Hood, a freelance science writer based in Hillsborough, North Carolina, produces and hosts Radio In Vivo. Please
click the "About Ernie" link to your left to learn more about Ernie's services and experience.
Radio In Vivo airs each Wednesday from 11 AM-12 noon Eastern time on WCOM-FM 103.5, Carrboro's low-power community radio
station. Although WCOM's air signal is only available within Carrboro and parts of Chapel Hill, the station does stream on
the Web, so anyone anywhere with high-speed Internet service can listen via computer.
Click on the "Archive/Program Schedule" link to your left to download previous programs and see upcoming guests,
topics, and planned air dates.
Past broadcasts of Radio In Vivo are also available for download or podcasting on the station's website. To access the
station's complete program archive, click on the "Podcast" link on the station's homepage.
As a community radio station staffed exclusively by volunteers, WCOM has an ongoing need for financial support from listeners
and the community. Please inquire if you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the station, or would be interested
in providing underwriting funding in exchange for on-air announcements acknowledging your support.
