Aurora and Meteors

All of the aurora (Northern Lights) pictures on this page were taken in November of 2004. This was a once in a lifetime display right over our new house in the country. It lasted all night and covered about 60% of the sky at times. The pictures were taken with my Nikon 5700 digital camera. Most of the exposures were about 25 seconds at ISO 400.

I plan to photograph some meteors to add to this page. Maybe this summer I'll get lucky and catch some good ones.
