Dear Members
The year is half over and we have accomplished much in our
chapter, but there is more to come.
We have a much deserved break this month since our regular
meeting date fell on the fourth of July, but your board is still busy
with plans for the fun August meeting. Please plan to attend and
bring a painting friend. We will work on boxes for Kids R First
And have the opportunity to learn some new skills.
Please remember that we are still collecting items for our military
members serving abroad. You can even make them a greeting
card to show your appreciation for the job they do to protect us.
Just as a reminder, this is your chapter. If you have any suggestions
for programs or ideas for your board, just let us know. We
are open to all comments. While all members can attend the
board meeting without a vote, if you want to be heard, then you
must let me know in writing two weeks in advance so that I can
put you on the agenda. Also remember that if you choose to attend
a board meeting and there is something confidential the
board must discuss, then you will be asked to leave during that
discussion.
