Organization Purpose - It is proposed that an organization be formed to provide joint ownership opportunities for pilots interested in Sport Pilot operation of the FAA's new classification of Light Sport Aircraft.  Membership in the group might be drawn from the Oroville EAA Chapter 1112 and the Oroville Foundation of Flight, but would not be limited to those groups.

Jointly owned aircraft qualities will be similar to this outline.

1. Meet all of the Light Sport Aircraft regulations. Vh 138 mph at SL & 51 mph So.

2. Be a friendly flyer. Neutral stability. Good slow flight qualities

3. Two places interior and meet M.D. Short’s approval for instruction.

4. Simple on/off fuel system.

5. Tricycle landing gear that is suitable for surface conditions at the EAA facilities.

6. Nominal range of 350 miles and a nominal endurance of 3+ hours.

7. Panel mounted, serviceable radio and transponder.

8. Reliable 4-stroke engine that is easy to maintain.

9. Ease maintained airframe and finish.
