Success! Gov. Pataki signs New York State DU Screening Bill into law Read the Complete Text
Thanks to the concerted efforts of CBDU and our affiliated groups around the state, New York has become the third state to sign this type of legislation into law. Now we have to support this effort in other states and push for national legislation.

Page Guide:
  • "What is DU?"  explains the properties of depleted uranium, it's effects and when and where it's been used.
  • The "Issues" page presents articles further defining and citing examples of the dangers of DU.
  • The "News" page presents the latest  DU health findings, and current legislative efforts.
  • The "Legislation" page lists the text and status of pending legislation in state legislatures and in Congress.
  • Check the "Events" page for DU related activities and events organized by or including CBDU.
  • The "Links" page will direct you to other articles, books, or documentaries about DU, and links to worldwide anti-DU advocacy groups.

Please browse the site and check back often for new material. Suggestions and comments may be emailed to: nomoredu@earthlink.net

You may also click here to download a questionnaire in PDF format that will give you the opportunity to assist CBDU in locating the resources and experts we'll need to expand our efforts.
