Born: 16 June 1825 Fayette Co, PA

Parents: Richard and Elizabeth McNatt.  They were from Delaware, lived in Fayette Co for a while, then moved on to Guernsey Co, Ohio.  Isaac had one older brother Joseph, born 1812 in Delaware.

Married: Elizabeth Daugherty (daughter James Daugherty and Elizabeth Nance) 17 Feb 1848 Guernsey Co Ohio.  She was born approximately 1829 and died 9Feb 1916.

Occupation:  listed in 1850 census as "leale digger" (?), in the 1860 census as "day laborer," and in his military records as "farmer."

War experience:  Enrolled Oct 24 1862 @ Marietta.  Detached Mar to May 1863 as a pioneer.  Wounded in thigh at Chickamauga Sept 1863.  Detached as hospital nurse to Chattanooga December 1863 and spent rest of war there. While at hospital he contracted "lung fever" and was in the hospital at Chester Hill OH when he was discharged.

Died: Feb 24, 1866, still in hospital at Chester Hill with the "lung
fever".  He is buried in Bethel Cemetary, Marion township, Morgan Co, Ohio.
