The first item is a pencil box. This can be the sturdy plastic
type you can buy or a small shoe box. We use this
to keep crayons together in the desks, so be sure that
it isn't too large.
No other supplies are really needed at this time. The school and I will provide primary pencils, markers, crayons, erasers,
a homework folder, and a glue stick, as well as textbooks, of course.
Please do not send in a large Trapper Keeper or any other large notebook since they do not fit
into the desks. I also request that pens and markers not be brought into school.
I recommend a backpack in which to take home all of our papers and hold
a lunch and a snack.
I also request that you
bring in a small dishtowel or a fabric or plastic placemat with which to cover the desktop while eating in the classroom.
I hope you will visit our web site often! If
you have any questions, please e-mail me! FYINotice that I do not include the students last names on this site, nor do I label a photo with a student's name. (The one exception would be my own sons!) I am very careful to follow the internet permission slips that are kept
on each student. If you requested that your child's name,
photo and work not appear on the school web site, I will
not include them here. If at any time you would like to
change any or all of the permission slip, you may simply
request another copy.
