It is as simple as 1, 2, 3
The crabs you have are already cooked. If you would like warm
crabs, place the claws into a pot of boiling water for a short
period of time.
For cold crack and enjoy. To crack your claws, lay them on the
side with the knuckles pointing upwards. Push the claw out as
flat as you can, hit the area #1 with a hammer or mallet, also
give the knuckles a whack. #3 pull the claws pincher or area
#1, what you are left with should resemble a popsicle, there
is hidden cartilage between the two sides of meat. Don't forget
the lump meat inside the knuckles crack, pick and enjoy.
