Shallow Thoughts

Someday we'll look back on this and it will all seem barbaric. Unless we are worse off, then it will seem like it was great!
Everyone wants to go back to the way we were. If the way we were was so great, it wouldn't have resulted in THIS!
Racism just makes the minority races stronger. They become stronger because they know they have to work that much harder, while the racists become weak because you are blaming everyone else for your problems.
The spread of AIDS from the homosexual "lifestyle" was caused by the refusal of "normal" society to accept homosexuals; not by the homosexual community itself. Sociology 101: If a group is ostracized by society their social processes will become convoluted. With Afro-Americans, maybe it was their self-esteem; that could be where the strutting, talking loud, bursting with life, rhythm, soul and creativity came from. With Jewish people, maybe being indigent (were they ever poor? Just kidding. :) nomads who weren't allowed to own land for all those years drove them to strive for wealth, prestige and security. And meanwhile white people just get more boring. If these sound like prejudices to you, I don't mean them that way. There is a saying that prejudices are there for a reason, that is they have some basis in reality. The danger comes when we generalize and assume that everyone with a certain characteristic is a certain way. As you probably know, the root of the word prejudice is to "prejudge."
All the sexual perversion penetrating society today like a wet penis into the deep cavity of depravity is not caused by the permissiveness of the present, but by the repression of the past.
Pornography demeans men, too.
Idealizing women and demonizing men is not going to help the dating process. Nor will idealizing men and demonizing women. Women have to stop shaving their bodies and wearing makeup and we need unisex bathrooms. Even deodorant is fake. If we never used it we would be used to the smell and wouldn't notice it anymore; we get the same result with or without a huge trillion dollar industry. WE ARE ANIMALS. Idealizing sex and ourselves convolutes reality. When we lie about what we are we become increasingly more convoluted and frustrated until we can't stop masturbating ourselves with Soap Operas and Machinery. I mean, we fart. We ooze. We ugly. We STINK! Why we're pretending we're so pristine is beyond me. It's only the biggest lie we want to believe so badly. And it convolutes everything we do and are. Get real.
Soda pop is crap.
Are you that sure that that "that" that you used was that necessary?
Marketing is going to be most effective selling things that are easier, more fun and less work, and by appealing to our insecurities and greed. By nature we will be most susceptible to those things. So if marketing is our emphasis in society, we will tend to become lazy, insecure, pleasure-seeking escapists, even more than we normally would.
