putting the fangs on

  tonight
  i am putting on
  my fangs
 
 and though you think
 you have seen them before
 you haven't
 
 these fangs
 are not easily
 forgotten
 
 no mistaking
 the green glint of
 moonlit eyes:
 
 the call of the woods
 is in my blood
 pulse already racing
 
 tonight my fangs
 will be sharp for the hunt
 and we will not take "no"
