We'd be happy to host any band seen here!
Check some of these out.
A You Tube search of Peri's Fairfax (Recommended listening, Garnish 'Sense of Mary", simply amazing performance)
B Microsoft Live Search of Peri's Fairfax,Ca looks like it's got a little new and a little old
This may be under constructio at the moment, but probably very soon, you'll be able to view this rich content of local music in and around Fairfax. Bandlands.com, a cool site with approx 40 vidoes of various bands playing in various places. Much more content.
More than half of the pictures contain bands that play, or played in the day, at Peri's. There are a few bands
that have several different vidoes here. Of the 40 videos, 11 were actually recorded at Peri's. Of the bands that are not
recorded at Peri's, you'll probably see a bunch of bands you'd like to see at Peri's, many of them again!

  Don't forget about New Orleans!
You may notice I keep mentioning New Orleans. Well, that's because I truly believe we need to continue to insist on helping out down there. We know we could easily be in a disaster situation here as well, Fairfax got seriously flooded New Year's Eve 2005, and a big earthquake or fire could happen anytime. We could be in serious trouble ourselves, and I hope someone out there cares about us when it happens. In the meantime, it's up to each of us help out where and how we can. Click the link below or give to your favorite charity or disaster relief organization. Every little bit helps.

5 star rating on Yelp.com

On my first big night on in Fairfax I visited 2 of the 3 bars.  First stopped at 19 Broadway w/ a $10 cover and a band that wasn't very captivating. Had an okay  drink but there wasn't really a crowd and it was cinco de mayo.
So we walked down the street to Peri's, paid a $5 cover and am so glad we did! The had an awesome Rockabilly band (Spinout) that had all the patrons grooving. Stepped out to the patio with a weird grotto looking thing. And then to the back to play pool. Julio the bartender was a lot of fun, thought I am not sure if that is his real name - possibly a made up cinco de mayo name. who knows.
We had a great time with good drinks and friendly people!

Wow, are we excited about this month. We've got a new addirion to the Peri's stable on Wednesdays in Sacred Profanities, a fun Americana rock band that is sure to have bunches of friends sitting in and making happy noises! And we have a couple blast from the past shows, with Don Gallardo back in town for some family action. For those who don't know, or don't remember, Don was in several very popular Marin bands, bands like The Station, The Fitts, among others, before heading out to LA, then Nashville to further persue his songwriting career. He'll be sharing the stage on a night when Jeb's Twangfest can't be here due to travel plans, so what a score that is. Then on the 31st, Garnish songwriter/guitarist Jeremy Mendonca is back with Norton Money. For those who don't know or remember, Jeremy and his beautiful and talented significant other moved to London a few years back so that Sophie could continue her education at one of the finest schools in the world for her field. And wouldn't you know it, Jeremy met a guy in London from, where else, Northern California, who just happened to be a musician and they've been a pretty happening force on the London scene ever since. Jeremy is back in town for his annual visit to the old home and the folks and whenever he's in town, we beg and plead with him to play here, and you know what, he always says yes. He's the tops! This year he's back with his London partner in crime and they will grace our stage for a night of Americana, London style!

Some really cool shows of note (OK, they're all cool). We are proud to have the first installment of what we
hope to be a long and loving affair with raging Celtic band Culann's Hounds. this is one of the most popular bands in the region and we're very proud they will be here. Of course, Rock-a-billy Hall of Fame memeber Rusty Evans is always a hit. Diamond Ortiz cranks it up another notch and will be playing on a Saturday night this month. Jon Korty of Vinyl will be here with his funk/blues band. And if you haven't seen Craig Caffal, make a point of it this time around. He's spectacular. I overheard him on stage with Jeb's TwangFest  mentioning he had played with one of our lost heroes, Bo Diddley, and you know that's hot.

All in all, this will be one great month of music and we're so happy to be able to present these musicians in our humble establishment. Thanks to all of you who are coming out and being part of the best music scene in Marin.

That's why they say, "When in Fairfax, it's Peri's!"

(OK, If your band appears here and you have no idea why, it's because someone who likes you
passed your info to me, none of these is random. I figure there's no such thing as too many links to your site,

Some words about who’s who at Peri’s this month

Andre and friends -  Acoustic  -  Andre Mottershead brings in a crew to delight you with lots of eclectic acoustic music from Celtic to Americana.

Craig Caffal Band  -  Rock  -  Maria Muldaur’s guitarist brings his own exquisite voice and scintillating guitar work for a night of sizzle!

Cohen  -  Rock  -  Very neo-modern sound, with some interesting songwriting. Lot’s of you complimented these guys last time they were here.

The Coutrtney Janes  -  Americana Rock  -  Great band doing all the right things to get noticed. Very fun band to party with.

Culann’s Hounds -  Acid Celtic  -  Very high energy, very exciting music from one of the Bay Area’s favorites.

Diamond Ortiz - - Rock/Funk  -  Fresh funky rock with a classic rock feel, but nothing old about these guys! Get your groove on cause this show’s hot!

Rusty Evans and Ring of Fire - Country -  A real live Rock-a-Billy Hall of Famer. Lots of great country music and a healthy dose of the man in black.

Tom Finch Group  -  World beat  -  World class too! Way fun band playing all kinds of cool rhythms! Great songs!

Funky Shack Band  - Rock/groove  -  Great dance party band, 9 pcs last time here! Horns, background singers, Motown, soul, rock, pop, fun!

Don Gallardo and 2Pilots  -  Acoustic Showcase  -  Those darn Gallardo boys are at it again! Yay! Don’s back for a visit from Nashville and as luck would have it, he contacted me the day Jeb let me know he’d be out of town, so no TwangFest, but a great big family style jam just the same!, featuring his bro's band 2Pilots!

Jeb’s Twangfest  -  Rock  - These are heavy hitters and great Peri’s folks so make sure Wed night is always reserved.

Jinx Jones  -  Rock-a-billy  -  Old school style, with a serious twang and a serious groove!

Jon Korty and Friends  -  Blues rock  -  Jon’s side band when not with Vinyl, this is one hot ass band that just rips it up. Usually many guest artists.

Krickie’s Songwriters’ Night  -  Showcase  -  Krickie presents some of the best local talent around on the last Sunday of every month.

Little Sister Band  -  Rock  -  Rock and roll party band.  Classic to modern rock. Very dancable.

Norton Money  -  Americana  -  Jeremy Mendonca of Garnish is back! For a time, anyway. his is his London-based duo that is just awesome.

NTL  -  Rock  -  Harder edged classic rock like Jeff Back and the like. These guys are members of the SF Symphony, but this is our kinda long hair music.

Ryan David Orr  -  Americana    -   Ryan has a sweet voice and excellent songs. Very nice set.

Peri’s Blues Jam  -  Blues jam first Sunday night back by popular demand!

Quest Theory  -  Cosmic Americana  -  A little trippy Americana with some shades of bluegrass to some shades of reggae. Very cool sounding band.

Rahman’s Songwriter’s in the Round  -  Showcase  -  Only the best for you. This is a night of songcraft. Come in and enjoy.

Sexy Sunday - Women rockers - Krickie hosts the monthly showcase for women musicians both local and not so local. Always a fantastic night!

Stone Cold Soul  -  Blues Rock  -  Great sounds and a fun band to party with.

Steve Taylor Band  -  Soul/folk  -  Very SF sounding folk style music. Cool songs.

WTJ Trio  -  eclectic rock  -  Actually, a quartet now, but still the same unconscious collection of great music.

If you enjoy great acoustic music and love to see it live and spontaneous, we have the show for you.

Acoustic Open Mic Night!
Every Monday!

We get it all! Great solo performers to full bands! Drums and keys are welcome. If you’re a player, sign up is at 9, and if you’re playing next door, don’t worry, we’ll do our best to make sure you get to play here, regardless.
