Desert Bound

This site is an internet version of my personal journal from a ten day Outward Bound excursion in the Needles District of the Canyonlands in Utah. The trip took place from 9/27-10/6/96. This journal includes: the cast of characters which made the trip extremely unique, a day by day account of places and events, things I learned and information about the Outward Bound schools and principles.

Although outdoor life may not interest everyone this site is designed to entertain as well as inform so you might want to browse through anyway.

This site is also my first attempt to build HTML skills so please fill out the feedback form if you have a few moments when you're done OR e-mail me with thoughts, criticisms or suggestions if you like.

Since the journal is arranged, for the most part, in chronological order, I recommend using the NEXT Back and BACK Back icons to guide you through the story.

But, if your time is limited or you're not viewing the site to get every detail of the trip, feel free to go directly to a desired page by clicking it's link at the bottom of on any page you are on. Caution though, you may miss some beautiful pictures.

Hope you enjoy this trip as much as I did. Thanks for visiting!

Special thanks must go to my trip mates and to my instructor. Not only did they make the trip everything it was but they have been patiently awaiting this site for about a year. I hope it was worth the wait. There's no funky, animated graphics or anything cool like that. Its just a recollection of our trip with some beautiful pictures.

And an extra special thanks is extended to my brother as well. I couldn't have moved this idea forward without his Mac and HTML expertise (and patience!).
