The purpose of this site is to give you a glimpse into the world that is Matsuwesty Adventures.  Matsu was the name we gave a sailboat we owned.  It is a combination of the names Matt and Susie.  It is also the name of an ancient Chinese god that watches over sailors.  Since then we have named any vehicle that transports us to new adventures Matsu (or a combination of that, eg-Matsuwesty). 
Matsuwesty is actually the name of our Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia (camper), and our tandem kayak is named Matsu.  These vehicles and others like it will allow you to see the various places and things we see.  We hope you enjoy it as much as we have!
