Seth Gecko's Tattoo

By extremely popular demand, I'm proud to present to you folks several detailed shots of Seth Gecko's fire tattoo. Many of you have asked for pictures of the tattoo so you could get one yourself, so here it is! (I finally got the ability to take screen captures and these shots are from the DVD so you can see the detail really well.)

A few words about the tattoo from Greg Nicotero at KNB Effects: "The tattoo was created by the straight make-up department with a bit of help from us. If I'm not mistaken, it was either Ermahn Ospina or Heidi Grotsky that painted it on every day with tattoo inks. When George had to go back to shooting ER, we (KNB) took a cast of his neck and made a stencil that fit directly to George's neck that they could then airbrush the colors directly through the stencil and onto his skin."

The tattoo had to be removed at the end of each day with a blow dryer and gasoline.
