Welcome graphic

Hi, I am Mark Rodgers and I have been collecting beer cans from around the world since 1976.  With roughly 3500 cans on the shelves, my collection is certainly not the largest.  However, for a few random moments over the years I have had at least a can found in every current & former country that has brewed and canned its own beer making the collection one of the most extensive.  With recent issues from Palau and Dominica, the collection is once again incomplete. I am also still looking for a couple of unique imports, but my shelves hold cans found in 171 current countries as well as 17 former countries.  Admittedly, some of details are questionable; please see the Definitions page for a long explanation.

My family and I live on the south side of Green Mountain at the western edge of Denver, Colorado.  Valerie and I are both Architects, and are the proud parents of three children: Isabelle, Christopher and Lindsay.

I hope to continue to add to the number of friends I trade with from around the world with this site.  I have provided links to my collection list, pictures of cans in my collection, and pictures of some of the cans I have to trade.  I only collect beer cans, preferring alcoholic verisons over non-alcoholic unless that is the only type of brewed malt beverage available from a place.  I am always trying to find cans from - or specifically for - distinct places in the world that have their own flag.  For instance, I am trying to get a can from/for each of the Japanese Prefectures.   I am willing to look for local issues of soda cans to trade for beer cans.  I am not a dealer and therefore I do not list prices for cans nor do I usually buy cans just to resell them.  I am too often buying cans for my shelves and there have been a few times that I have bought an entire collection.

The heading links to the left take you to the different pages of the site.

July 20th and the illusion of having a can from every country that brews and cans beer within it's borders is gone again ... the island nations of Palau and Dominica both now have breweries canning beer, take a look at the recent page.

I hope you enjoy your visit, please drop me a note if you see something of interest, have a question or correction, or want to just say "hi".

Cheers!
