From 1947 through 1956, the area of Germany called the Saar was goverened independently from France and Germany. The
Saar issued its own currency, stamps, and one brewery issued a few flat top cans. Here again I am exposing my optimistic
side by displaying a can from a "country" who's status might be debated.
