Sofia Gomnes Erickson moved her family from Norway to Minnesota. Her daugher, Hanna Erickson Swenson, also homesteaded in Minnesota and her daughter, Bertha Swenson Erlandson, proved up her own 160 acre homestead near Denton, Montana, before her marriage to Carl Erlandson.
