VTA has 56 of these type, the only difference between this series and the other 9900s, 1000s, 2000s and 2100s is that these coaches have Gillig licence
plate grill, and just like the 2000s and 2100s have the window missing on the driver side, as well as configuration/interchange between rear door and window compartment. Coach 2220 was involved in an accident in Downtown
San Jose, 2003. Coach 2220 returned to Line 81, December 23, 2005. Both Chaboya and Cerone Divisions were each assigned 28 coaches.
