Bringing you a sampling of Ireland's presence in cyberspace. ![]()

I was GOING to update this page, but it sucked so bad that I figured I was better off SCRAPPING the whole thing and starting over with a new page altogether! I expect to have this completed sometime before the millenium, a phrase you will be hearing win annoyingly greater frequency in the next two years.
In the meantime, here are a few emergency links to Irish stuff to get you by.
Have
you had your Vitamin G?

This award-winning site has links to virtually every type of Irish website you can imagine! Chock full o' cool graphics (one or two of which found their way here - thanks TPO!) and links to other stuff, this is a must-see!
Guinness:
Nectar of the Gods, Giver of Life. In drinking circles, Guinness seperates
the men from the boys (except in parts of Arkansas, where this is done
with a crowbar.) It is truly the ultimate beverage, and is probably the
second most important commodity ever to be exported from Ireland (the first
being the vast majority of its population).
Among the many unique qualities of Guinness is that even after consuming large quantities (more than 10 pints), you hardly even notice a hangover on the following morning. This phenomenon, however, is largely due to the fact that the intestinal pain caused by having so much of the thick black stuff coarsing through your body far outweighs any headaches, dizzyness, nausea or spinning sensations associated with a mere hangover.
To make your descent into the depths of Guinness-worship complete, you must outfit your computer with the Guinness Screen Saver, available at the GUINNESS HOME PAGE. Virtual tours of the brewery are available at the site. (Unlike the real tour, there are no complimentary servings on the website).
The IRISH TIMES and the BELFAST TELEGRAPH - Both are great sources of news, althought the Telegraph contains high volumes of Unionist filth. The Irish Times has many great features, and in the western US, you can read TOMORROW'S paper before you go to bed!
BRENDAN BEHAN WORSHIP PAGE - While he is one of the great Irish playwrights of the modern era, there is not a whole lot about Behan on the Web. This site has the basic 411, with some good links. If you haven't read his works, you are really missing out.
SINN FEIN
- I will add links to other Republican and Nationalist political parties
soon, but none is more actively committed to the struggle for Irish freedom
than Sinn Fein.
