I initially created this website to promote the professional academic in me, but the website was promptly hijacked by the insatiable mountaineer in me.  On this page I boast about recent hikes I've done in the northeastern US.  Much boasting appears on the other pages as well.

(I made it to Lion's Head, where constant ~90 mph wind turned me back.  It's a good thing, because otherwise I may have lost more than one toenail!)

29 miles, 6100 vertical feet, 15:20 hours (solo)
 
Itinerary:
5:00 AM started hiking from Lincoln Woods Visitor Center
9:00 AM summitted Bondcliff
1:00 PM reached Galehead Hut
3:30 PM summitted Garfield
8:20 PM returned to Lincoln Woods Visitor Center

10:00 AM summitted Upper Wolf Jaw
3:00 PM summitted Basin
7:00 PM returned to Garden trailhead
11:30 PM returned home
