Website design has become an art and a science. Modern websites are often driven by data-base, dynamic processes. This allows the owner to easily update information that will be displayed. E-commerce sites almost certainly require some form of dynamic programming to be running in the background.
And then there is the issue of security. It is important to be assured that data and customer information remains safe from corruption or theft.
All of these issues highlight the need to engage a professional team of web designers from the inception of a website. It has just become too difficult for one person to have the skills necessary to do it all.
