Welcome to our "Place". We, (Jill & Jimmy), have found our "Place"
in the world. Thank goodness the horses happen to be here, too! Riverbottom Farm is the unofficial "Daughter
Farm" of the NEW Kent Island Sporthorses ~KIS~, formerly Riverland Farm in Mequon, WI, home of Elite Hanoverian Stallion Donavan and junior stallion Rosall!
We hope that this site will allow you follow along with us as we dream, design, build, and grow; Pictures
and News will be changed and updated regularly.

Riverbottom
Farm, in addition to being Jimmy and Jill's little piece of heaven, will also provide a peaceful, low-stress environment
for a select group of broodmares to compliment the Riverland Farm tradition of producing extra-special foals by Donavan!
Foals produced at Riverbottom will shine with his timeless and limitless qualities of character, talent, and temperment
while also honoring the unique qualities of their elegant, approved dams.
Another goal of Riverbottom Farm is to explore the profound effect
that Donavan will have for generations to come: through the loving, meticulous, and thoughful selections of outside stallions
for Donavan's daughters.

What's New?
May 24th, 2008 Update:
Once again, too long between updates! Nellie has had her foal;
a PERFECT filly! And all the chrome options as well (see Dinah on the foals page). Also, Riverbottom Farm is FOR
SALE! We will be relocating to Maryland to be where ALL the action is, so someone is going to get Riverbottom Farm/Texas
for a STEAL! Only $139,900.00! See the FARM FOR SALE page.
May 21st, 2007 Update:
WOW! Has it really been that long since I updated? We have
a Donavan grandson! Born May 14th, 2007, what a fabulous colt by Rapture R out of Dominique by Donavan! And Nellie
is 45 days pregnant by Donavan! What a prayed-for cross! Also, Wedgie and Baley were inseminated on the same day
last week (what luck!)....we will see who's pregnant there very soon!
May 15th, 2006 Update:
Whew! Lots to tell! Jimmy and I got MARRIED on Sept
17th, and have just moved to Mineola, Texas, to continue the breeding operation in a much more vibrant area, close to Jimmy's
work. We've been fencing, and fixing, and fiddling with the barn/house/ and land, and seem to have an endless supply
of projects that keep popping up. We've gotten 3 of the 5 mares bred, and will be able to relax a TINY bit once they
are ALL confirmed pregnant!
