Orchids- Grow in very bright light but not direct sun. Water every week to ten days. Fertilize every time you water. We use Peters 20-10-20 or  Super Bloom. Protect at 40 degrees. Repot every two or three years. We use a potting mix of  long-fiber sphagnum moss and perlite, 50/50. Bougainvillea bonsai- Grow in full to partial sun Water every day or two, depending on size and age of individual plant. Fertilize once or twice a week. Bougis flower on a ten to twelve week cycle, year round. When flowers fade and turn papery, cut back flowering branch 4 to 6 inches. When new shoots grow to about 4 to 6 in. in length, pinch the growing tip. This will discourage long,  rank growth and promote the next flowering cycle. Protect from a freeze. Root prune  once a year. Take the plant out of the pot and cut 2 to 3 in. off the bottom of the root.  Replace the potting soil and repot Bougi. This can be done at any time of year.
Juniper -Grow outside in full to partial sun. Water every two or three days, depending on the weather,  the size and age of your particular plant. Junipers don't' like to stay dry and  prefer to be on the moist side. Finger prune new growth so that the energy and growth go to the trunk and branches. Cold hardy to well below freezing as they are evergreens. They can take the heat also. Fertilize with a weak solution of Peters at least once a month. Root pruning should be done every year or two.
Succulents- Grow indoor or outside in shade or partial  sun. Water once a week as a general rule and fertilize every week or two. Protect from freeze. Always propagate more so you can share and have a few spares.
