The Stronge/Strong Family

The Strong family is the family of my mother's mother, Mary Louise (Strong) Riley.  With the help of more internet cousins, I have been able to trace this family to George Stronge, who was born in 1553 in Chard, Somersetshire, England.  The genealogy follows this page.

The house was built by H. H. Wiendieck, a jeweler in Red Bluff.  It still exists, in 2001, as a Bed and Breakfast, known as The Faulkner House
