While fishing on the northern side of Kentucky Lake closer to the dam area, a fisherman in a boat spotted an alligator basking in the sun on a sandy shoreline.  The reptile was approximately 4 feet long and slithered into the lake waters upon the mans approaching boat.  He tried to get a closer view and catch a picture with his camera phone.  Witness is related to Jan Thompson and is by no means a believer in anything odd or out of place.  His testimony was incredible coming from such a man who would not have believed the story if it had come from someone else.

 

A father and son fishing from the banks of the Clarks River spotted an 8 foot alligator waddling along the opposite shore and then slink into the waters.
