This page will be dedicated to all those mysterious beasties, monsters, cryptids, etc...that have been sighted
all over our planet.
By Hannibal Specter
From my side of the world, they are indeed made of 'flesh and
blood'...there was nothing spiritual or paranormal about the two unknown species I and my family have witnessed...although
there are many theories I myself have pondered over and gave some merit too as to why they exist at all,
how they have survived mass detection by the human population all these centuries, and from where they have come
from, etc. The lists of possible conjectures are too numerous to mention. (For your research purposes,
go to www.guardiantales.com, look under 'Jan's Tales' and read the following true stories of some encounters
with this illusive creature, , Through The Fog , From the Woods , Forest Creature , and The Beast of LBL.
Note: This is not my website, but belongs to a wonderful woman named San, who has treated me as well as all
her submitters with the highest of respect and courtesy in regards to our experiences.) I've come to believe,
about 95%, that these cryptids are indeed a part of the earths evolutionary species created along with the rest
of the planet's inhabitants. Maybe they are survivors from a prehistoric era, which have evolved
and adapted to their environments over the centuries. They could have crossbred with similar species to maintain
their survival status thus creating some type of hybrid or `mutt', as we tend to call interbred dogs.
We shouldn't neglect that there once was a legend of a great ape that ruled the deep forests and jungles
that terrorized people for eons, until the gorilla was discovered and captured in the early 1900's and categorized
as a `new species', thus bringing reality to the myth. Now, there are true paranormal creatures that
we do come into contact with, or is it they that make contact with us? But what is paranormal?
To us, we define it as a supernatural mystical experience, which is actually just something we cannot understand
at that point in time; something that defies explanation or challenges our present definitions of what
we do have answers for. If it cannot be found in our modern day scientific dictionary then as humans we
tend to lean towards the statements, `It doesn't exist, it can't exist, it's your imagination, it's never been proven,'
and so forth. But some day we will have proof, we will have explanations, and it will amaze
us that we were so cynical and one sided beforehand. History has taught us that the majority laughs at hysterical
ideas that are presented as possibilities. The public laughed at the whole idea of electricity,
a trip to the moon, the telephone, and the airplane. And they continue to criticize all the research and
hypotheses of the `paranormal ` spectrum. The bottom line is, there is nothing `paranormal'. It
is all just another dimension of our environment that exists without a valid explanation in the human
mind. We call it `paranormal' because it is not simply `normal'. And if things aren't `simple' and `normal'
then we, as the vain creatures that we are, reserve it for balderdash and topics of humorous conversational
debates. Another truth is that we have not labeled every living creature to this date that exists on our
planet; new species of every walk of life are being discovered on a weekly basis. We are vain in
thinking we are the most supreme intelligence of our universe, and know everything, or claim to have an explanation
for all things. Step outside the box for a moment. What do you think that the visitors
from other worlds, who come here in their spacecrafts, actually think about mankind on earth? I would guess
they see us as living in the Stone Age compared to their evolved technology. Mankind needs to
step outside the box and take a long look at itself once in awhile and learn to laugh at his misconceptions, his
massive ego, and learn to see impossibilities as stepping-stones to the truth. "We think we
live in our world, but with unlearned certainty, that world lives around us." -Hannibal

SCI-FI MOVIE
I recently caught the airing of this movie on the
Sci-Fi Channel last weekend. It was stated in the beginning of the movie that
it was based on some true events. I had already been familiar with the stories
surrounding this creature for a couple of years and was anxious to see how it would be put into a script and made into a film. After the initial viewing of the movie, I was left a bit disappointed, as the content
was basically a fictitious raveling of characters and scenarios, with a brief moment revealing just a fraction of the actual
history of this beast’s legend. All in all it was your average low budget
flick horror movie with a few believable characters, some predictable scenes along with a cheesy ‘werewolf’ looking
monster to fit the bill. I’m not sorry I watched it, but I wouldn’t buy it, and I’m very glad I didn’t
pay any money to go see it at the theater or rent it. I guess I was looking for
a more in-depth look at the beginning of the legend, and how it survived through decades of sightings, and a more believable
plot. (Watching too much History Channel, Discovery Channel and National Geographic
Channel can spoil you.) For personal reasons, I was always intrigued with this
legend because it so resembled the Beast of LBL and the creature witnessed at my cousins home so many years ago. It gave me a since of quiet comfort that I was not alone in believing this type of cryptid could exist. (It also confuses me as to how people can accept the existence of the Bray Rd Beast
and not also believe in the LBL Beast. For this I am going to add a page of other
sightings from the LBL area that others have witnessed throughout the recent years.)

For you the readers, we’ve compiled some facts
below as well as links to check out, all concerning this mysterious elusive creature, the famous Bray Road Beast, from the
Wisconsin area.
The Native Americans have a legendary creature in
their stories called the ‘Shunka Warak’in’, which means ‘carrying off dogs’. It is based on the many sightings from numerous different tribes as well as the spreading American settlers,
which have seen it living in the wild parts of the upper Midwest United States throughout several centuries. It is described as a wolf-like animal that stood on two legs and walked like a man, but could also run
on all fours. It was also seen eating and holding food with its paws, that had
human like fingers, and the flat of its palm/paw being held in an upright position, meaning it could turn its forearm like
a human. It would also kneel, bending its legs like a man and sit on its haunches.
Here is some brief information on a few of the sightings
of this creature over the years:
In 1999, a woman was driving down Bray Rd. one evening
and while she was looking down changing her radio station she hit something with her car.
She got out to investigate and saw something dark, hairy and huge coming at her from the ditch. After she retreated to her car rather quickly this beast jumped on the trunk of her car and left some terrible
scratches! Later that same evening while traveling back down the road with a
passenger, she saw it again hulking down by the side of the road. She drove past
it rather quickly.
Another incident on the same road involved a woman
who was traveling at night and witnessed the creature bent over eating something in its hands.
She slowed down and watched it for close to a minute and noted the yellow glow from its eyes, pointed ears, the dark
tangles of hair, and a long snout along with long fangs. She also stated that
it had a very muscular build and a large wide chest.
The eyewitness accounts go on and on, from farmers
who have seen it in fields, hikers have seen it in the forest, and children have spotted it also while sleigh riding in the
snow.
It seems that the most famous of all cannibals, Jeffery
Dahmer and Ed Gein, originated from Wisconsin also. Now their horror filled legends are contending with the Werewolf of Bray
Road. Let us pray that this creature does not start leaving behind corpses or
collecting human trophies.
Also if you want to read all about this Wisconsin
Werewolf you can purchase the book, “The Best of Bray Road” by author and artist, Linda S. Godfrey, at the following
