AUTOMATIC WRITING
By Hannibal Specter
We are by no means experts on the matter,
and only offer an introduction to guide you in the proper direction of the subject matters history and definitions. We are
by no means promoting or endorsing the use or practice of any divination device. We
also would like to state that none of us practice sorcery, satanic rites, or engage in any type of witchcraft defined by ancient
or modern means. All that we deal with and investigate is often condemned by religious factions as being the works of the
devil, to this we say, “Me and God got our own thing going on.”
We could go into great detail on this subject
but will reframe from placing that on our site. All we suggest is that you use your own judgment, pray about it, put God first,
and go from there.
We are not a group that passes rulings
or conclusions on anyone and we expect the same respect.
(This statement applies to all our articles.)
The process of ‘automatic writing’ is actually a method in which a person unconsciously
writes down messages on paper; types them out on a computer or by using any other devices used for communication. These messages do not come from the ‘conscious’ part of their mind, and the writer is not aware
of what is being written out. The procedure can be done in a trance like state,
a deep meditative condition, or just by sitting still in a quiet room with your eyes closed.
(Yes, you can write with your eyes closed, the words, message, or picture may come out sloppy but at least you are
not tempting your own eyes to control the movements of your hand with the pencil/pen.)
This particular procedure has been used for a variety of special reasons and has been practiced
for centuries. It can be used as a tool to discover your ‘inner self’,
release repressed memories, awaken your creativity, speak to the ‘other side’, or as a form of ‘channeling’. It is very similar to using the Ouija board when being used for ‘channeling’
so you must be aware of the consequences! You may be in communication with a negative entity that is imitating a deceased
loved one, or some other person you are wishing to commune with. Use the same
rules of opening and closing the scenario as you would with any type of divination tool for your protection and safety. (Read more about the Ouija board here, http://home.earthlink.net/~hannibalspecter/id5.html)
Your results will mostly be legible and coherent,
but there are times when the message will have abbreviations, symbols and initials only.
Some sentences will be short, without punctuation and proper grammar, and some will be worded in the dialect of the
entity; meaning using the way they speak from a certain period of time or from a certain part of the world. It might come in codes or riddles, rhymes or questions, even in a foreign language. Below is an example of automatic writing that I preformed myself that was done at a haunted house. (You
can read the entire story and see the actual photos of the entity coming out of a mirror and placing their hands on my head
while I was writing at the residents dinning table, at this link, http://www.guardiantales.freewebspace.com/JAN-Husband1.html, note, the photos of the entity are close to the bottom of the page.)
“A
fortnight of silver…leather straps, chains of rust, a celebration among soldiers, goblets of Rye…Tusce…bars
of lye, curdled milk, wicked master, scars and salt, black smiths branding, salt and lye, wagons of wood…
Sorry I
was to not help the child live…sorry I was…stars of 6, robes of black, worse then the Night Riders…men of
honor, men in charge, walked and danced on ground unblessed, sung in foreign tongues, rose hands to false gods…slab
of marble, rocks of sin, blood to bathe in, flesh on the stone…Master Misery…no tongue had I…no secrets
to tell…so young, so small, I sorry was I…
Horses traded, auctions, no slaves, but kept servants…no homes,
we stayed…
Cross of timbers buried in ground…slab of stone marks sins entrance…east of a star shinning,
under moist grass…seeds of deception mark…cross me over thrice…salt for
the
witches…oil for our peace…angels for protection…
Look under a shining star…”
Our paranormal group, TRAPS, uses automatic writing
at each of our investigations. We save all our notes and compare them with each
other afterwards. As it stands now, we have two individuals that can perform
this task in a safe manner with amazing results, Alicat and myself. Each one
of us usually goes to separate parts of the home/business to carry out this type of spiritual contact. See this link for an
example of each one of ours personal automatic writing results from the ‘Iron Banks Hotel’ investigation; you
will no doubt be stunned at the differences, http://home.earthlink.net/~hannibalspecter/id14.html.
Below are some links we found very interesting for
your own research, you will also find numerous separate opinions on this particular subject so you can reason with yourself
over what you feel to be right for yourself.

The above site deals with an individual Christian’s
perspective on astrology, and divination. Excellent read!
(There may come a time when we will reframe
from using this tactic in our investigations for personal religious reasons, and because of the dangers involved. We do not recommend that you try any of these avenues yourself.)
