Many people are curious as to why I use olive oil in all our cleansing ceremonies....here
are a few reasons...
Olive oil is mentioned throughout the Bible and is used for numerous purposes; anointing
the body, after a bath, making the skin and hair smoother and more healthier, the dead were anointed with the oil for
burial preparation, it is also used for medicinal purposes, used in meals for use as an offering, for cooking, internal and
external remedies, used in lamps for oil light, it was used for the anointing of kings, priests, prophets, warriors weapons
and shields, alters were also consecrated with the oil. The sick were anointed for a physical as well as spiritual
healing, and represented the individuals reconciliation with God. Guests of honor were anointed on the forehead, and
Christ designated the oil to be used in the Sacrament. It was also used for anointing the sick and for those possessed
by evil spirts, it is also considered a symbol of the Holy Spirit
.Some passages you can read about Olive Oil are located here: Ex 29:2 , 2Sa 14:2 , Isa 1:6

When using olive oil for house blessings/cleansings, or anointing family, yourself or
friends, or to get rid of evil spirits, keep this in mind:
According to Psalms 34:7 God's angel guards those who honor the Lord and rescues them from
danger.
You must verbally denounce with a powerful voice, Satan, all his power and all
of his demonic hosts, and claim your authority as a believer in the name God through his son, Christ. Continue
to pray over the house or apartment and anoint it with olive oil in the name of Christ, by placing a small amount on your
finger and touching the doorways and windowsills. You may also pour a small amount at the four corners of the property
if feasible or spread some oil on your hand and touch the ground outside your front door to ask that the property be blessed.
Never leave room for doubt.
Believe.
Let go...and let God.

them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;

tribal ceremonies for the clearing, prayer, or purification of an individual or place. Light the end of
your sage stick or bundle of sage and or sweet grass, let it stay lit for about 15 seconds then put out the flames.
Allow the smoke to go around your body or space that you want to cleanse, you can use a feather to direct the smoke in
any direction you wish.
