"Boulder City is proud of our historical role in building Boulder (now Hoover) Dam," says Gove. "The wetlands are a different, but equally important, water conservation project that is more attuned to water use in the twenty-first century. The wetlands will serve an a prototype for constructed wetlands built in arid regions to extend the uses for limited water resources."
