Cayman Brac - Nov. 5-12, 2005

Another night without any sleep
(Due to a 2:00 AM departure);
17 of us left for Cayman Brac.
The only one missing was Arthur.

Turns out he was also the only one
Who ended up with missing bags.
And thankfully, unlike the trip from Roatan,
This one had no giant lags.

Brac Reef Beach Resort was home
For our week of diving and sun.
One never knows what to expect,
But it seems we all had fun.

The food – oh my! What can I say?
Some of the best, I’m sure you’ll agree.
It won’t surprise me one little bit
Once home, some extra pounds we’ll see.

Desserts (can anyone say “Chocolate”?)
Were on display by the score.
It wasn’t very unusual
To see people going back for more!

At first it was Donnie and Robert on board.
And then Vicki commanded the boat.
From what I hear, in search of “best divemaster”
She was the one that got Dorsey’s vote!

A video was taken of our fine group
As through the frigate they dove.
There were also some turtles and barracuda
Through coral and reefs they wove.

Wednesday was the “social” night,
With some karaoke and dancing.
The group from Ohio really can’t dive
But boy, they sure were prancing.

Adrian, Shelene and Mirna –
All served us at the bar.
The camaraderie of this gang
Is one of the best by far!

So as another poem comes to a close
(For I have run out of rhyme!)
We all thank Jim and Kathy
For another wondrous time!!
