My first step was to order Mark Thompsons Blueprints for the tread section all the way up to the waist. If your looking for
great plans Marks the way to go, and he's very helpful if you have any questions.

I used MDF instead of plywood because it's easier to sand and cut. I'll be covering them with styrene later. I used a Rotozip
for the inner cutouts, if you dont already have one pick one up you wont regret it. Mine is the Ryobi one it was a little
cheaper than the Bosch one plus it came with a case.
The Rotzip is great for adding the soil sampler door.
