Tina and I would love to hear your thoughts about these pics!

Welcome graphic

Here we are again in beautiful Nafpaktos, Greece.

For those who have never been here, perhaps these photos will serve to transport you to a land of enchantment...where the bluest skies, Mediterranean-blue water, and towering mountains co-exist more harmoniously than many places elsewhere on this God-given gemstone called Earth.

For those who have visited here--rarely or regularly--Tina and I hope these photos and messages stir up

  1. mouth-watering aroma's of lamb cooking over the fire,
  2. the feel of the cool breeze blowing in from the sea through the open windows where you are sipping Greek Coffee, Wine or Ouzo while snacking on the most delicious homemade treats,
  3. the familiar sound of the pebbles under your shoes as you walk along the most peaceful beaches of Greece...where waves are even more rare than snowfalls, and
  4. the beautiful variety of sounds one hears waking through town, ranging from worship services projected from loudspeakers of the churches to traditional bouzouki and clarinet music and maybe accompanied by locals expressing their joy in dance.

We don't know how these photos will affect you.  We hope you enjoy viewing them as much as we enjoy taking and posting these photos for you all to experience them...or at least, to imagine them in your own way!

One request...Please DO NOT use these posted photos for any commercial purpose, duplication or distribution without our written permission.  Thank you!  George and Tina Paris

Opa!

Tina and I hope to have the priviledge to entertain with you on a future visit to our beautiful Nafpaktos.  Be sure to check out www.Nafpaktos.gr to learn more, and click on the British/US flag for English content.

May God Bless You All, and May we all meet in Nafpaktos!

Sincerely,

George and Tina Paris

Check out the world's longest suspension bridge which opened for Traffic between Rio and Antirion to make travel up and down the western edge of Greece unimpeded.  Heretofore, the ferry boats were the only way to cross the Gulf of Corinth in the west.  Visit the bridge site at:  http://www.gefyra.gr/English/Frameset2.htm and we'll include some photo's of the bridge in our pictures, as well.
