Here we have additions to all 3 brands of amps. The
bottom right is a 67' Vox
Viscount.
It is the
combo
version of the
Buckingham (as seen in the Vox page). It is known as
the American AC 30. A highly sought after and
great sounding amp. It has the original gold Bulldog
speakers. A stand is on its way and should be in the new Vox
picture. On top is a 67' Fender
Dual Showman. This is the Cadillac of 67'
Fender amps. It is 85 watts with 4-6L6 power tubes. It is
the same head as a Twin Reverb. Another great find. To the
left is a 71' Kustom
SC150 combo with 1-15" speaker. This is one of
the finest bass combos Bud Ross ever made. On top of that is
a "gold" 100 PA head. I thought it was gold till further
research tells me it's a discolored silver. Such are the
perils of the collector, sometimes you win,
sometimes.....
What started out to be a recording studio has now
turned into a museum. I can still do midi projects but live
recording has all but ceased. You can still see two of the
Kurzweils I used to finish "Hymns of Praise". (Look on info
page for link). Everything here is shown on another page
except the Sunn
Sonaro behind the Kustom organ. It is a 72' 40
watt tube bass amp. Its main function would be a small venue
or in the studio. I'm still amazed how big the transformers
are for a low wattage amp.
