Scanned, edited and posted with permission from Francis Tresham, Stuart
Dagger, and Steve Jones. This version contains a revised edition
of the rules of "Retuning 1853" fully integrated into the 1853 v2.0.03
rules. The appendices include notes on the "Retuned Rules" and
where the original "Retuned Rules" can be found in this new document.
In addition, there is an updated commentary by Steve Jones on
"The Companies of Retuned 1853", a tile manifest, and a "Sample Game
Start." This document was scanned and edited by Dick Ruck, Jeff
Heuer and Lou Jerkich, with the generous assistance of Stuart Dagger
and Steve Jones. Another link to
this version of the 1853 (Retuned) rules can be found on the 1853 page of
BoardGameGeek.
