This photo was taken by Ron Flynn in 1954. A picture of this unusual building appeared in California Crazy: Roadside Vernacular Architecture, San Francisco: Chronicle Books, 1980. The unique building was a regular stop for tourists in San Francisco. It had been built so it could easily be converted to a regular home by some future owner, and that is exactly what happened after Theodore Pezzolo's death.
