Sa Bu Nim Cleo Randall is the Head Instructor of the school who began his martial arts training at 14 years old. He trained informally at a neighborhood park in Dallas, Texas,  practicing Judo and Kempo Karate until the instructor left the area. Without instruction,  he continued trying to learn on his own from whatever source he could. While stationed in Korea in 1973,  he found a Kuk Sool school near the air base and began his formal training in traditional martial arts. He earned his 1st Degree before getting reassigned and once again trained on his own. Unable to find schools that offered as much as he had experienced in Kuk Sool, he began training with close friends over the years refining what he had learned. In 1994, he made contact with an old classmate from Korea and learned that Kuk Sa Nim had established the WKSA in the U.S. He immediately renewed old ties and his formal training continued. With his past history in Law Enforcement and Personal Security covering the last 26 years, the training in Kuk Sool has proven to be a decided advantage and has given him a tremendous insight when it comes to the understanding and application of the myriad of techniques that are taught in Kuk Sool. Additionally, his skills with many weapons of Korean Martial Arts serves to benefit all of the students here. SBN Cleo oversees and stays active in all of the classes, workshops and demos, many time providing one-on-one training without the cost of private instruction as he interacts with the students of all levels at the school.
