Prebaikalsky
National Park, one of six protected areas adjacent to Lake Baikal,
Irkutsk,
Russia, has even been touched by Enos A. Mills. The .gif of
Prebaikalsky's
10 year anniversary below takes a while to download, so please be
patient.
The national park is now celebrating its 18th anniversary
(Congratulations!)
in 2004. This was sent to us by a dear supporter and friend, Hank
Burnbaum, an American who, by the summer of 1995, spent many of the
prior
12 years living in or near Irkustk and was involved in Russian-US
environmental
exchange projects connected with Lake Baikal. In 1993, Hank
became
a park ranger in the Prebaikalsky National Park.
is
the Russian equivalent spelling of Enos A. Mills.
