The Writing Empowerment Project was founded and is directed by Emma Rosenthal. Programs include local, national and international efforts towards empowerment throught the use of the writing process.

Cafe intifada, founded and directed by Emma Rosenthal, seeks to empower artistic self expression within a social/political context, to raise funds through the arts, for cultural and human rights needs and programs internationally and connect artists with activists, community members and other artists currently engaged in progressive social change.
