Jim "Trekman" Merchant has been a member since 10/20/03 and has climbed 17/48 of the New Hampshire Fours.
Jim is a native of Massachusetts and has been visiting the White Mountains since he was 5 years old. He skis (both types) and bikes (both types) as well as hikes and has skied Tuckerman Ravine and the John Sherburne Trail several times. He participated in the "Flags on the 48" memorial event in 2004 with his son. He is an engineer with an electric utility company and now lives in Suffield CT, hoping to retire somewhere in the White Mountains in the not so distant future.
