All Black Forest Bar Campers have solemnly sworn that:

We don't let anything hit the ground and We clean as we go. Each and every camp participant is to contribute 2 hours cleaning the open space of BRC beyond cleaning our own camp down to the granular level. We shall secure potential windblown litter (e.g. plastic bags and paper). We don't plan on any burning of anything on the open playa. Our trash shall be separated: trash that will have to be packed out, trash that can be burned and trash that can be recycled. Recycled trash (aluminum) shall be recycled at recycling camp if possible. Burnable trash shall be burned and ashes removed. All other trash shall be packed out and properly disposed of. All places that use water like the sink, shower, shall have waterproof pans to catch waste water. We shall sweep our camp for every little, last piece of trash. Every twist tie, feather, bottlecap, cigarette butt, sequin, staple, and nutshell shall be removed. We shall lay out an imaginary grid, then sweep from one end of each section to the other with a line of people spaced every 6 feet or so.

Black Forest Bar is founded by folks who ran Espalanade Camps for 8 straight years (14 year Burners) Our record should show we are able to Leave No Trace.
