The Ragdoll is a very large, docile, laidback, and loyal cat. They are very people
oriented. Many consider their personalities to be quite like dogs. They can be trained to walk on a leash, and even play fetch.
Many will greet you as you enter your home (if I had not seen it with my own eyes I would not believe it either!) Because
they are so laid back it is very easy to introduce them as a new pet in your family. They get along well with other cats and
dogs. It is recommended that they be strictly an indoor pet, because of their gentle nature.
They have medium length fur that is non-matting and very easy to care for. Fur is
longer at the neck and tail. Altered boys can attain 20 pounds in weight, while girls can reach up to 15 pounds. Ragdolls
are muscular and grow at a slower rate than other breeds. It is not uncommon to have to wait for your kitten until they reach
12 wks. of age.
All Ragdolls are blue-eyed. Kittens are born white and traces of their color start
to emerge at 10 days. There are many colors and patterns. Our cattery currently
offers traditional blue and seal Colors. We can also obtain the beautiful lynx pattern.
