Located in the beautiful Santa Clarita Valley, the Santa Clarita Soaring Association is an AMA charted club that promotes remote controlled soaring and electric powered airplanes of all types.
Helping one another advance in the art of soaring is one of the primary goals of the club. Safety is always the utmost concern.
SCSA members can fly Sunday mornings at the Valencia High School. 27801 Dickason Dr, Valencia, CA. (near Ave. Tibbits) in Valencia, CA (unless noted otherwise.)
SCSA monthly Contests are held on the first Sunday of the month at Rancho Pico Jr. High School unless noted otherwise. Rancho Pico Jr. High School is located west of Interstate 5 in Stevenson Ranch. From either north or south, exit the 5 at Valencia Blvd. and go west until it ends. The school is located on the left side of the street. Parking lot is in the front of the campus.
SCSA Monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 7 PM. The location is ACT, 27200 Tourney Road in Valencia, Ca. Tourney Road is just west of Interstate 5, between Valencia Blvd. and Magic Mountain Pkwy. Map
Membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics for 2008 is REQUIRED for membership in SCSA. If you are not an AMA member or have not renewed your AMA Insurance for 2008, please do so by completing an AMA Membership Form available from the AMA and mailing it to: AMA, 5151 East Memorial Drive, Muncie, Indiana 47302-9252, (317) 287-1256
