Amber Gunn was born and raised in Paragould, Arkansas.
Talent runs in her family. Her mother, Rhonda Gunn, is an highly acclaimed Christian recording artist.
Amber began performing when she was 5. She wrote her first song when she was 8. When she turned 18, she decided to pursue a career in music and moved to Nashville.
She has been honing her writing and recording skills under the tutelage of Memphis Hall of Fame producer, Larry Rogers. Larry introduced Amber to Greer Williams, daughter of legendary film and TV composer Patrick Williams whose music publishing company Greer manages.
Greer's enthusiasm for Amber's music was so contagious it wasn't long before her father caught the Amber Gunn bug and signed her to a development deal, the goal being to secure a major label recording contract.
Amber has written over
20
songs for the project and has recorded several tracks for possible
inclusion in her first CD tentatively entitled: SOMETIME
EARLY MORNING.
An exciting future lies
ahead
for one of this generation's most talented new comers.
