Dashing Sams is a working Samoyed kennel in scenic northern Idaho, conveniently located near hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails to train on.   Jill and Bob Wilson are avid winter recreation enthusiasts and have been involved with sledding, skijoring and Samoyeds for over 12 years.   Jill is a member of the Samoyed Club of America, Organization for the Working Samoyed and the Samoyed Club of Washington State.   Both belong to the Inland Empire Sled Dog Association where Jill is the editor for the club's newsletter, Sled Tracks.

Our focus at Dashing Samoyeds is on preserving and promoting the heritage of a tough expedition dog.  The Samoyed is a survivor of harsh arctic life as sledge and herding dog, a dog with both unparalleled beauty as well as rugged working ability.

What's New?

Welcome to the Dashing Samoyeds website.   What's new at Dashing Sams?  Nova whelped a litter of 3 boys and 2 girls on July 23.   Pups just turned 10 weeks old and are doing great.   The blue boy, Sailor, is off to his new home and we are so excited for him and his new owners.  To learn more, click on puppies above.
