The University of Chicago Folk Festival
All events take place on campus in Hyde Park. Concerts are at Mandel Hall (57th & University). Free workshops, jam sessions, and dances on Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5pm, are at Ida Noyes Hall (1212 E 59th). To order tickets, call 773-702-7300 or pick them up at the Reynolds Club Box Office in Mandel Hall. It's open 9am to 4pm, 7 days a week. The Cajun band will perform at both the Friday and Saturday night concerts. On Sunday there will be Cajun dance instruction with Joan Letendre in Ida Noyes at 11:30 followed by a Cajun dance with the same musicians from 1-3.
