The Sticktionary

Complimenting the chord diagrams are
explanations of the chord constructs, “C” – notation for each shape, and
interval identification on each diagram. The diagrams utilize the finger code
symbols familiar to readers of Emmett Chapman’s – Free Hands
and Greg Howard’s – Stick Book, Vol. 1. Written as an educational resource and
reference, The Sticktionary includes sections on: harmony,
polychords, and chord inversions. A separate section is dedicated to charting
out The Stick’s fretboard. This section contains pitch range notation and
diagrams for all Stick models (The Stick®, Grand Stick®,
& Stick Bass®-SB8) and the common
tunings for each – including; Classic, Baritone Melody™, Deep Baritone
Melody™, Matched Reciprocal™, Deep Matched Reciprocal™, and High Bass 4th. Chris, a veteran Stick player since 1984, was privileged to work with recording artist and teacher, Steve Adelson, on editing The Sticktionary. Incorporating suggestions from Steve, Emmett, and Greg Howard – The Sticktionary is now available exclusively through Stick Enterprises, Inc. (call 818-884-2001) or order as an e-Book (PDF) right here. The
