Prince Part II...
All I can say about Prince is this man is blessed - Not only can he put on a show, but he can play those strings so well.  3 hours of non-stop music, glorious music!!!  I still am in awe and the show was on Friday, August 17, 2004.  An interesting moment happened during the pre-show slide show and I spied a familiar face.  And boom all these teenage memories flooded through me.  Back in my junior year of high school was around the time that Kenny G was still the sh*t and Dave Koz was on the rise from his Arsenio Hall fame, I begged for a female sax player to show the boys that girls could play too.  Why I begged for this I still am not truly sure - maybe, it had something to do with the fact that I wanted to so desperately to play an instrument but me and the violin where always at odds.  And my rhythmtic (sp) talent was more than lacking.  But my begging one day stopped when I turned on Arsenio Hall and spied Candy Dulfer - she was bad!!!  I mean the girl could blow.

Now here I am, in my pristine and prime seats waiting for the one and only Prince to begin his show and as excited as I am to see Prince I am just as excited to see Candy. And neither disappointed!!! This show is better then any show I have ever seen in my entire life. And I have seen some good shows in my time. If I could I would travel around and try and catch other shows, but I have a limited budget since I am trying to go to law school one day!!!

Oh, the horror...
I don't spend too much time looking at myself in the mirror with little to nothing on - but, yesterday evening I had to.  I needed a bathing suit.  Mind y'all, I haven't worn a bathing suit since 1996 - so I had no idea what I would look like in one.  To prepare myself, I shouldn't taken baby steps before the trying on process, but I didn't and I was mortified at my first glances.  But, its over and now I have two bathing suits - one from Macy's the other from Lane Bryant.  Neither bathing suits fit in the chest area so I will need to go to a tailor and have them taken in, but they amply cover my hips and thighs and that is all that matters.  Now all I need to do is find the appropriate causal party dress - I think torrid.com will be the way to go.

Weird Dream that included Dubbya disgust...
I haven't been to political lately on this here crappy blog because I think it is well known that I am I disgusted with Dubbya and I constantly pray we don't get four more years of this chuckling fidget.  However, last nights dream has changed some things.  In the dream there was a strippercise contest between a two older women and the winner of the contest would be revealed as a younger women's biological mother.  The woman who won the contest told her newfound daughter that she was related to Bush and she was hoping he didn't have four more years in the White House.  Now this very odd dream made me realize that I need to stop watching Oprah before I go to bed and keeping my disgust trapped deep inside brings about too many weird thoughts and may disrupt further sleep.  So I will bring the political smack talk back to this here crappy blog!!!

Alive and sort of kicking...
We have moved our offices to the city on the hill, better known as Rosslyn.  The move was stressful but I made it and I am almost moved into my new digs with a nice little view of a busy city.  This window has prompted folks to inquire on my feelings about the window- my response, "It's no big deal - Just give me a desk, chair and an internet connection and I am as happy as a pig in mud!"  And trust me it isn't, but it is nice!!!  My main purpose of the day is to come to work, to work and not spend my day looking out the window - don't these folks now that I have a tendency to procrastinate and this window isn't helping things.  I feel no status pleasure from the window - I have a job and a lot of folks don't, so that is the true reward.  But this office move has shown me the true colors of folks.  I have heard over and over again how my office isn't big enough and I worked to hard to become this or that and this admin type person has a better view or a better office.  It is very disgusting to me.  These folks are sooo lucky I didn't plan this office move - these offices would be half the size and the conference areas would be twice the size.  It's all about the customer folks - let us not forget.

On a patiently waiting note - my office has a lovely view into a condo complex...I'm waiting for something juicy to happen so I can talk all about it here!!!
