Genetic Census

Britain is planning a massive DNA database (called the UK Biobank) of 500,000 citizens in order to study disease and its relation to genetics and the environment. Environmental factors include smoking, alcohol, viruses, pollution, exercise and diet. Results are not expected for 20 years or so, not enough time to save me from male-pattern baldness.
